Monitoring the menstrual cycle
A woman’s menstrual cycle is monitored through ultrasounds and hormone blood tests, in order to determine the fertile days of the cycle and increase the chances of spontaneous conception.
Taking hormone preparations during the cycle may help stimulate the generation of a larger number of eggs. Immediately after ovulation, the probable conception time is indicated to the couple.
