• Involved in training and education both at the undergraduate as well as at the postgraduate level at the Medical School of the Aristotle University.

• Director of the Master in Human Reproduction of the Medical School at the Aristotle University, training young doctors in the field of Reproductive Medicine.

• Head of the IVF Unit at the Medical School of the Aristotle University, which has been accredited by the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and the European Board & College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology as a European Centre for subspecialty training in Reproductive

• Coordinator of the Special Interest Group Reproductive Endocrinology of ESHRE (2013-2015) organizing many Campuses on assisted reproduction and infertility across Europe. He is currently the past Chair of the Special Interest Groups Committee of ESHRE, supervising all educational activities of the society.

• Professor Kolibianakis has given more than 200 lectures at international meetings and has been on the editorial boards of Human Reproduction (2005-2009), RBMOnline (2009-present), Fertility-Sterility (2011-present) and BJOG (2017-2020), F&S Science (2020- today).

• Excellence award in Health in 2008 and the excellence award in research in 2015, 2017, 2018 by the Aristotle University.

• Awards for scientific research papers presentations at international meetings and has received recognition for his excellent work in peer review for Human Reproduction and Fertility Sterility, the two major journals in the field of infertility.

• Has published over 165 research papers and more than 20 chapters in books related to infertility.

• Co-edited a textbook on “Recurrent Implantation Failure”, a topic in which he has a special interest for years.

• In depth research on the optimal way of managing patients with a low number of eggs after ovarian stimulation (women with reduced ovarian reserve) and in simplifying ovarian stimulation rendering it more patient friendly and safe.
